I'm Liz and God designed me to be an encourager, a dreamer, a story teller and most importantly, a Kingdom builder.
As a general rule weddings are beautiful and emotional. There’s joy. There are tears. There are raw nerves and butterflies in the stomach. Morgan and Andrew’s wedding was no exception. There was joy. There were tears (the happy kind that make you smile). There were nerves and butterflies. And for me as their photographer, there was something else. A connection. I’ve known the bride since she was just a little girl… I was her babysitter. So on a warm and gorgeous afternoon there was something so magical and almost unbelievable about seeing this amazing young woman marry her best friend. It was like watching a scene from her childhood play out in front of my eyes. Only instead of marrying her dolls to one another on a Friday evening, Morgan was the center of attention on this lovely Saturday afternoon. She was the beautiful, glowing bride and her groom could not have been more in love… you could see it in his eyes.
The bride and the bridesmaids each wore cowboy boots… a perfect touch on a Western inspired wedding at Callahan’s Mountain Lodge in Southern Oregon.
The Father of the Bride was just as stunned as everyone else to see his daughter as a bride. Suddenly his little girl was all grown up.
The groomsmen were Andrew’s brothers and best friends. They were exactly the men you want to stand by your side when you pledge your life to your bride.
As her father walked her down the aisle Morgan’s face was full of happiness. Her smile was a mile wide. Her father’s eyes full of love.
Their beautiful daughter Peyton completes their family, and their bond is strong.
Morgan… you were a stunning bride and your are an even more beautiful woman day in and day out.
Morgan’s sisters and girlfriends are just like Morgan. They’re beautiful. They’re full of joy. They love love and they love Morgan.
Morgan’s brother and sister gave perhaps the most unique toast… or rather “roast” that I’ve ever seen. They complimented Morgan’s organizing skills, her confidence and her ability as a leader. It was a tremendous showing of their love and affection for their big sister. (And you were right, Morgan. That wasn’t his horse. ~ A little inside joke just for Morgan and the Weckerle family.)
When it came time to cut the cake, the bride and groom had a plan. The Best Man (the groom’s brother) and the Maid of Honor (the bride’s sister) each ended up with a face full of cake… and then so did the bride!
The bouquet toss became an intense battle and test of agility for “All the Single Ladies.”
Morgan and Andrew… You are an incredible couple and fantastic parents. The love between you is evident. May your lives together be blessed with happiness and joy. Morgan… I am so grateful that we reconnected and for such a wonderful reason. I am blessed to call you and friend and look forward to seeing you and Andrew spend many wonderful years together.
